How to Create a Logo Using Canva
We recommend using the free graphic design tool Canva to create your clothing rental service’s logo and resize your images. Follow the steps below to design your custom logo.
Your logo must be:
Black on a white background
Text only—do not include any icons, gradients or shapes
Horizontal and sized to be 2061 px wide x 558 px tall
Designed to be as large as possible—make sure it fills the entire space
Saved as a high-quality PNG at 96 DPI
Named: YOURSERVICENAME_logo_2061x558

Step 1
Log into Canva. Click Create a design and then click Custom size at the bottom of the dropdown.
Next, input Width: 2061 / Height: 558 / Units: px and click Create new design.
Step 2
A new tab will open with a blank design.
On the editor side panel on the left, click Text and then Add a text box to populate the white artboard with placeholder text.
Step 3
Type in your clothing rental service name for your logo in the text box. Then click on the Font dropdown (where it says Canva Sans) in the text toolbar at the top of the page to explore different font options and styles.
Step 4
Next, scale your logo by clicking on the corners and sides of the text box and dragging so it’s as large as possible without extending any characters outside of the white artboard.
Step 5
Make sure that your logo is centered. Click and drag the text box using the magenta guidelines to assist with placement.
Step 6
Once you’ve finished your logo design, you’re ready to export! On the top panel, change the file name (where it says Untitled design) to the file naming system YOURSERVICENAME_logo_2061x558.
Step 7
Next, Click Share in the top right corner, then scroll to the bottom and click Download.
Step 8
Make sure PNG is selected in the File type dropdown. Keep the size at 1x and double-check that the size below says 2061 x 558 px. Then click Download to save your logo file as a PNG. Now it’s ready to upload!
